Since our case was not weather related it has been bumped up and they called today to say that the total loss unit has looked over the photo's and estimate and has decided to call it totaled. We are suppose to hear either tonight or by tomorrow on what they will give us as far as the settlement.
I am hoping this can be finished by this weekend...if so we have a good selection of used vans to look at if they don't go by them! Hoping they will still be around! State Farm called late last night and said that the medical portion of the settlement has been taken care of. And Pemco has received the damaged personal items list and I should be receiving a payment for that separate also. Now we just have to wait.
Emily still seems to be fine from the accident. She keeps saying that the van hurt mommy but she doesn't seem worried to be in any other car. I feel a little better today still a massive headache but I can move a little better. The kids are doing well around the house. They have even been getting in and out of the van by themselves to help me out. Emily even helped me get Cooper dressed this morning.
Emily has her last day of swim lessons today and we are not sure yet if we will go we are suppose to get a massive snow storm tonight. We will see. She is scheduled to start lessons again end of January. We are talking about starting Cooper in lessons early since he is doing so well already in the water we don't want to loose that. Our goal is to be able to get him in for lessons on Sundays since Tony has those days off. We will see!
And now for a cheerful Video
