Emily

Emily is now at her last day of class her first week of school. She had been super excited to go each day until today she asked not to go but to go tomorrow. I think it is mostly because she has a cold and can barely breath and didn't sleep to well last night.

She has really been doing well with school she is singing a lot more singing the songs I sing with her now instead of just watching me sing with a look of "your weird." She has also been asking that Cooper come with to school.

At night Emily has started praying by herself. We have always prayed together as a family saying the "now I lay me..." prayer. In the last few days she has pulled away from us while we say it and goes to the corner of the room where we realized she was saying her own prayer. Last night she prayed about her bus and Cooper name was also in the prayer. It is hard to hear what she says as she whispers and hides from us but we have caught a few words and of course we hear very clearly her amen at the end.

Emily starts swim lessons again next week. Which is good because she has been asking about them most every day now. I hope she retained a fair share of what she has learned so far. If she has her teacher said most likely she will move on to the next level but we will she. She has so much fun swimming that even if she doesn't move up it is still worth taking her.
