Last night we went to MLT pool to go swimming as a family. Cooper has showed so much interest in going into the water and he has not been in a pool like that since he was 6 months old so we decided it was time. He had a BLAST he is so good in the water. He wanted to blow bubbles like Emily, lay on his back and float, kick, put his head under water... words can't tell how much fun he really had!
Our smart little guy even figured out if you have a blow up beach ball next to your ear and someone talkes into it the voice is amplified a little and when that happened he had so much fun listening to us and then saying things to us! He can even wear a life jacket now and walk around parts of the pool. I think I might be able to handle both of them alone in the pool now so we can go more often because Emily does great with a life jacket on now!
We were at the pool for 2.5 hours last night from 5:00 till Emily was done with swim lessons at 7:30 they were both tired and exhausted but excited. They didn't even go to bed until 10 last night they were so excited.
Emily put her whole head under water for the first time multiple times while we were all in the pool she would do it and as a reward she would get to do 1, 2, 3 blast off (where she would get thrown into the air). She even would show off to her little boy...friend at lessons today! Too Cute! Today was her last day for this session but she is signed up for the next at the same time so Tony can come to as many lessons as possible! She didn't move up she is still a Tadpole I am thinking at least two more times at this level she only has to master putting her face in the water, front float, and float to side of pool independantly! All other requirements she does really well!
She should hopefully have the same teacher next session which I think will help her out. She really does well with her teacher Erin.
Sorry no pictures from yesterday but we were all wet!
