The kids enjoyed the companies attention
I got most of the cooking done but the Turkey was not done nearly as early as we thought it would be so by 2:30 well beyond Cooper's nap time we decided to feed him all but the turkey and send him off to bed before he started a meltdown. At about 3:30 1 hours after turkey should have been done Emily started crying and begging for me and within 20 minutes she was here...
Which meant that Tony ended up here...
But by about 4:30 and lots of help from Tony and Allen dinner was done and us four adults enjoyed a nice warm dinner while both kids were sound asleep!
Turkey was great nice and moist {even though it took 2 hours longer to cook then thought (5 hours total)}, the boys did great making the gravy and re-moistening the potatoes and stuffing that had been done for a while and getting the final things in order.
After dinner we enjoyed a couple of pies one pumpkin and one pecan. No pictures but the kids loved the pumpkin pie!
